Vice President Sales

Geomodeling Technology Corp., the leading innovator in geoscience software for the oil and gas industry, is looking for talented people to join its growing company.
You are a seasoned veteran of the sales world, adept at building and maintaining key relationships - and you have a full list of E&P contacts to show it. You have a knowledge and presence for presenting software solutions and a genuine interest in technology. You also understand how to identify and support your customers' needs and interests. You have the experience of running a sales team, know how to motivate a sales team and enjoy running a sales team - you are the person your team looks up to. You are comfortable building your game plan and launching it.
Accountabilities:
• Establish sales targets and generate sales to success
• Lead a successful sales team in the Canadian marketplace
• Provide an annual sales plan and quarterly updates
• Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales team
• Provide research and product development team with client feedback and priorities
• Be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Qualifications:
• Proven sales management record, preferably within the oil and gas industry
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Skilled at learning new software and techniques
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation skills
You must demonstrate creativity, take initiative, embrace a positive attitude and enjoy working effectively in a team. You are a self starter who is familiar with or adapts well to an entrepreneurial setting. .
