Geomodeling Technology Corp., the leading innovator in geoscience software for the oil and gas industry, is looking for talented people to join its growing company. You must demonstrate creativity, take initiative, embrace a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment. You are a self starter who is familiar with or adapts well to an entrepreneurial setting.
You are an experienced software sales person who knows the E&P market and has the contacts to show it. You will be keenly focused on selling seismic interpretation and geological modeling software solutions to the geoscience community. Direct selling of software solutions to the upstream oil and gas market is second nature to you. Knowledge in geology, geophysics, petrophysics and/or reservoir engineering is an asset.
Accountabilities:
• Support and generate sales
• Develop close working relationships with clients and position Geomodeling software at a high level with clients
• Identify and assess resources required to serve clients current and future needs
• Provide Research and Product Development team with client feedback and priorities
• Attend marketing events as required
Qualifications:
• Proven sales management record, preferably within the oil and gas industry
• Incredible negotiation skills
• Skilled at learning new software and techniques
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation skills
Knowledge of geology, geophysics, petrophysics and/or reservoir engineering is an asset.
